Environmental Media Solutions and the Tapes UK Ltd group are committed to providing a fast and effective recycling service to companies throughout the UK and Europe.

To ensure UK regulations surrounding waste management are adhered to, we comply with several agencies who govern the way we work and operate.

We are registered and licensed by the Environment Agency as carriers and brokers of waste materials. This compliance is met by providing our customers with copies of our licences and issuing all required documentation, such as waste transfer notes. You can download copies of our licences here:

To ensure confidentiality and safe handling of any copyright or sensitive material, we comply with the Data Protection Act and are FACT (Federation against Copyright Theft) accredited. You can download copies of our licences here:

To remind you that old electrical equipment can be recycled, it is now marked with the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol (pictured right).

We are a member of DTS (Distributor Take Back Scheme) to ensure we meet UK WEEE (Waste Electric or Electronic Equipment) compliance. WEEE should be disposed of correctly, so we provide relevant and accurate information to our customers regarding recycling and disposal of WEEE. We also supply the paperwork to record the type and amount of WEEE recycled with us.

The DTS is the method of compliance for the vast majority of UK retailing, and as a responsible retailer, we have met the requirements placed on us by financially supporting the national network of WEEE recycling centre’s established by local authorities.

Throughout the workplace, we adhere to health and safety laws to protect our staff and customers from any risks associated with work activities.
